hi, i’m amanda

A visual storyteller + stylist.
A mother, homebody, and full-time dreamer.

Seeking a slow life and sharing my stories of our ordinary together at home.

When I’m not spending my time raising our little women, I try my best to sink into life’s simple joys; baking, homemaking, gardening, and exploring by the woods and the sea. Foraging wildflowers, curling up by the wood stove in a well-loved, oversized-knit, and sipping a hot coffee before the rest of the house wakes.

Intentionally choosing a slow, more simple, life.

When I had my first daughter, I started exploring the idea of slow living as it relates to motherhood and the togetherness of home.

I remember the desire to live more simply sweeping over me,

A need to reclaim and reimagine the societal ingrained norms of having more, doing more, and being more. From here, I made a conscious decision to tend gently and intentionally to my motherhood journey by starting to integrate slow, seasonal living into our everyday. From gathering to gardening, nurturing to nourishing; establishing the simple life we dreamt of.

One of simplicity and sustainability,

Of being fully present,

Of being together,

Of finding our rhythm and footing in a slow, seasonal home.

When we started making these small changes, I heard from many other mothers who were also on a similar path. Wanting to take small, sustainable steps towards a slower lifestyle by moving just a bit away from their nine to five; by embracing a pace that relies instead on the seasons and finding a way back to the wild.

A community of women, mothers, and creatives who crave the simple moments.

Folks who needn’t be experts at any one particular facet of slow living; who are simply seeking to intentionally pause (and really live) in everyday, ordinary joys.
